11/26/2008: "High Server Loads"

We are experiencing very high server loads at the moment. A few advertising projects have started which has really pushed up the load, and I also made a slight mistake recently and accidentally deleted the file used to block non-members from the BareGirls members area. I have since fixed that, but seems word is out and we have so many people trying to access the members area that it's putting a lot of stress on the servers. Surprisingly, our machines are handling the traffic very well, but I wouldn't be surprised if you see some performance issues. It'll get better as the day goes and people realize their free access is finished.
